CONNECTING WITH THE NEXT GENERATION

Speakers: Christina Hagan, State Representative, Ohio; Kayla Kessinger, State Representative, West Virginia
Synopsis: We're consistently told that Conservative issues don’t resonate with most Millennials or Generation Z. But is that the case? We all recognize the importance of reaching the next generation. The big question is, "How do we do it?" Liberals find confidence in the fact that more young people identify as Democrats than they do Republicans. Conservatives point to trends like a recent Reuters poll of 16,000 Millennials showing a nine-point drop in support for the Democrat party over the past two years while Republican support rose a point. Are their views shifting? Join us as we explore how to articulate the Conservative message to young people in a way that resonates with them. A lot is riding on the outcome of the 2018 midterm elections and both houses of Congress could change party control. If we're going to motivate young people to act and support Conservative issues in 2018 and beyond, we’ve got to better understand how to articulate the Conservative message in a way they can connect with.

WHY AMERICA SHOULD STAY ON THE PATH OF RELIGIOUS FREEDOM

Speakers: Emilie Kao, Director of the DeVos Center for Religion and Civil Society, The Heritage Foundation
Synopsis: America's robust protection of religious freedom has made our country great and unique in the world. In most of the world, people live in societies that place greater value on uniformity of thought than on freedom of thought. Almost 75 percent of the world lives under burdensome restrictions of their religious freedom and other civil liberties, which tends to increase economic and political strife. Now, new progressive ideology about sexuality, marriage, and the family is gaining ground in U.S. courts and at the UN and threatening to reduce the freedoms of Americans to think, speak, and work according to our deepest beliefs and values. In the wake of the redefinition of marriage in Obergefell v. Hodges, America is at a crossroads. Will we remain true to our historic values of allowing for a diversity of opinions to flourish? Religious freedom for all remains the best way forward to secure peace, prosperity, and freedom for all citizens. Join us to discuss how to get our country back on track for freedom.

HOW GENDER IDEOLOGY ENDANGERS CHILDREN

Speakers: TBD
Synopsis: Even after the Trump Administration rescinded Barack Obama’s transgender mandate to the nation's public schools, many school districts are voluntarily embracing radical notions of sex and gender and imposing them on children – often without their parents' knowledge or consent. From graphic "too much, too soon" Sex Ed programs to anti-science, anti-female biology-is-bigotry transgender mandates, children are being manipulated by adults in positions of power, especially in public schools. That sounds a lot like bullying. Come hear a panel of experts discuss how the Sex Politics of the Left threaten to cause real harm to children, and what parents can do to fight back.
